International Students

I'm writing a peice on USU's international students and their experiences in Utah. I would like to know what you guys would want to hear about. If you can think of any questions to ask them please respond!

This can be a pretty dull story unless you do find something interesting/funny/odd/quirky to focus on. For example, what are some American customs or practices that people from other cultures find particularly odd? Or you might see if you could take a more high-minded route--given that U.S. status and popularity have suffered so much in recent years, what are the positive things that people from other nations associate with the United States. We're in the midst of the presidential election--do they admire the American democratic ideal?

Other ideas? What does Satenik think is a good angle?

Jeez, Maddie! You stole my story :(
I think covering what international students thought about US before coming here and comparing it with what they actually experienced sounds interesting. Especially if you get some crazy ideas, like "I thought everyone smoked marijuana on the street or shot each other on the head"(which they could easily assume watching Hollywood movies)would be interesting for Americans(reading about the "American image"), as well as for international students.
